- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. King worked with a team of neurologists to determine the need for a brain biopsy. He was in regular contact with Dr. Krouwer and Dr. Prince as we were working endlessly to find a solution for the unknown seizures that led to a car accident. The consultation among the team made progress and regularly ordered needed tests with follow up discussions that helped us move forward. After several tests and observations, we had come down to a choice between further tests in 6 weeks or to have a biopsy to learn more about the cause of the medical issues. The doctors responded quickly when we made our final decision and worked well to meet our needs to a convenient procedure time based on my career. The doctors also offered a friendly and factual report as we were leaded to our final decision. I appreciate the personal feeling as we met with each doctor that helped us feel safe and positive as we moved forward to this difficult procedure. Dr. King also handled the procedure well before the surgery with me, with a follow up report to family that helped them feel comfortable, and a recovery meeting in the hospital that helped me feel comfort to return home.June 24, 2017by Mindy Charles
